FTP/Upload Files
...............
We strongly recommend using FTP client software for all file uploading as web browsers are not reliable.
Fetch users who are experiencing connection issues should go into preferences and disable passive mode transfer compatibility.
PLEASE be sure to compress your files in .sit or .zip format before uploading
If you send files with your own FTP software connect to: 64.30.49.137 for Reprodigital and use 64.30.49.133 to connect to Reprographics of New England - (username: public password: repro)
If you would like your own private FTP account , please call our IT Manager (802-658-0424 ext.12) and he will gladly create one for you.

| Approximately how long will it take to upload my files? If you have a fast broadband connection to the internet and you have compressed your files, your transfer should take minutes. If you have a slow dial up connection and your files are not compressed it could seem like your transfer is taking an hour or more, you will be better off mailing in a CD to our production department. Should I simply email my files? You can email your files if they are compressed and your file size doesn’t exceed 10MB. Remember to label your files and provide your full contact information in the body of your email making it simpler for our customer service department to associate your files with your specific order. Why should I compress files before uploading them? By uploading your files without a compression they are exposed and more likely to get corrupted. Use Aladdin DropStuff (for Mac) or WinZip (for PC) to compress your files and to avoid data corruption. This is important as it may delay your turnaround time if the submitted files without compression are damaged, you must re-submit loosing time. Will you accept a Zip, CD, or Jazz Disk sent in the mail? Yes. We accept 250 and 100 MB Zip Disks, CD’s, DVD’s and 1 GB Jazz Disk, please try not to send floppy disks. |
